Meeting our group of friends on an extremely hot Saturday late afternoon we cruised with 11 beautiful Corvettes down I- 220 on the way to Silver Star Smokehouse in Bossier City.

There waiting for our arrival were Al and Dawna. The place was filled with the smells of hickory cooked beef, sausage, and steaks!

We had about 23 members and friends eating a variety of foods from sandwiches, rib plates, and huge stuff potatoes it seems as though everyone had a good time. I heard several saying this is a place they will come back to for the delicious food and quick service.

After this meal, we managed a short cruise to Strawn's and somehow save room for pie and coffee. Our group was smaller at Strawn's but the secret was out Carolyn and Leo had homemade peach ice cream…oh yes.There was talk we could go and crash their party and have ice cream too but I just don't think there was anymore room in our belly's!

Don't worry Carolyn and Leo… there is always next time!! Ha.
