Welcome to the “Long Hot Summer” and it’s only the end of July. It was also one hot day at the International Council of Corvette Club’s Show the second Saturday of July. ICCC delivered as promised a new ZR1. The ZR1 and all the Corvettes on display sure drew a lot of lookers and interest. The big question I heard was “Is the ZR 1 worth $100,000 plus, plus. Each had their own opinion – what do you think? There was one thing for sure, we were not short of winners from our club representation. On our next outing in July, a large group of Corvetters, including eight members from Atlanta, Texas, ate BBQ at the Silver Star in Bossier. The food was very good and so was the company. We then proceeded to Strawns for pie, coffee and more laughter. We welcome our new members this year and look forward to our upcoming Revue, September 5 & 6. The keyword here is – “participate”! We need your Corvette registered and your personal help at the Revue. We still eat to drive and drive to eat. Are you having a FUNTYME yet??!! El Presidente |
