2008 World of Wheels |

This year's World of Wheels was held the first weekend in January (earlier than normal) at the new Shreveport Convention Center. It was a larger show than last year with a lot more rare cars ... for instance, a black Lamborghini Countach (only 1 of 180 made world wide), and a fixed-up Purple 197something AMC Pace Car (it was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in Nov 2007) from Ruston, LA. Also, this year the Shreveport / Bossier New Car Dealers Association had the new 2008 models from every car line / manufacturers. |

Cruise to Jefferson, TX |

The snow, sleet and cold didn't keep this group from having a great cruise! We awoke Saturday morning to beautiful sunshine! A little bit on the cold side but, with sweatshirts, jackets, and gloves we braved the wind and cold for a fun day in Jefferson Texas. We had 10 Corvettes cruising the back roads of Hwy 134.

Cruise to TaMolly's |

First cruise of the year was Saturday, January 5th and what a hungry bunch of fellow RCCC members showed up! We arrived at the Stoner Boat Launch to cruise to TaMolly's Mexican Restaurant, but before we could leave the boat launch we saw that someone from our club had been very good this year…Carolyn Perry. Santa decided it was time for an early arrival of her brand new 2007 White Convertible! What a beauty.
