Saturday, February 16, in the pouring down rain, four board members and their spouse, Ida and Nunce, Mary and Price, Terri and Larry, Sandra and Victor -- headed off on a trip to Vidalia La. for a meeting with most all Louisiana Corvette Clubs at the annual Confederation of Corvettes yearly meeting. Once we got out of Monroe the sun came out for a beautiful afternoon of sightseeing and on your own outings. Saturday evening all clubs gathered for dinner at Slough Daddy's Restaurant. There was so much laughter and talking in our reserved area one had to listen closely to what was being said at our table!

It is hard to believe, but February has passed us by again. Although I will never forget February 16, 2008 again. My first Grandchild "Baylor Susan Bass" was born. She came in at a whopping 7lbs. 12oz. and 19 inches long. How proud can you be ???? This is a real FUNTYME!

On Saturday, February 9, we had our Valentine's Dinner at Monjuni's Italian Restaurant.

On a cool Saturday late afternoon, this rowdy group of Corvette friends and family met at Harbor Freight for a cruise to the Thunderbird Café and CrawDaddy's Restaurant on Mansfield Road.

This month's featured car is owned by one of our newest members.

The new Jetsream Blue is the closest color I have seen to my Quasar Blue.

Since Nascar got started this month I will be in the same place on Sunday afternoons, in front of my new awesome SAMSUNG(as in Samsung 500-but I will be there in person April 6th) 58" HDTV 1080P plasma!
