It is hard to believe, but February has passed us by again. Although I will never forget February 16, 2008 again. My first Grandchild "Baylor Susan Bass" was born. She came in at a whopping 7lbs. 12oz. and 19 inches long. How proud can you be ???? This is a real FUNTYME!

While I was busy becoming a new grandparent "Pappy", our club was well represented at the Confederation of Corvette Clubs – Louisiana meeting in Vidalia. The clubs represented were promoting their show dates and general activities. There was a good response for our 2008 Corvette Revue on September 5 & 6 and we are expecting a great attendance.

Last week, Ida Williams and I had the opportunity to meet with Alvin Olsan from our club sponsor Red River Chevrolet. Its great to have their support and enthusiasm toward Corvettes and our club. Red River Chevrolet is excited and again will promote the Show & Shine at their dealership on Saturday May 10, 2008. There will be show prizes, giveaways and a great buffet for all that participate. Mark this date in your calendar. We promise nicer weather this year and will be inviting our neighboring clubs, S’port City, Corvettes of Northeast Louisiana, and Touch of Glass Corvette in Longview.
